Great observation-at work I’ve started getting random bonuses every 1-2 months and I fight myself every time to NOT buy a sofa or big summer vacation. We haven’t gone away in years and our sofa is ~16 years old so we can justify it but…why not a used sofa and a local vacation? Just because you have the money (unexpectedly) doesn’t mean it should be spent carelessly. At least I keep telling myself this lol.
